Rainbow Moonstone Earrings- one of a kind

These beautiful Rainbow Moonstone slices are nestled in recycled silver and fine silver. Rainbow moonstone is actually transparent labradorite,(sometimes called white labradorite) a closely related feldspar mineral with sheen in a variety of iridescent colours.There are crackles and inclusions in these gems which adds to their personality and there is a real delicate beauty about them.These earrings give off beautiful flashes of sky blue when the light hits them. Although it’s technically not moonstone, it’s similar enough that the trade has accepted it as a gem in its own right. Rather wonderfully, Rainbow Moonstones are also known as Good Luck stones.
